Perhaps next time though we could hold it at a bigger lot. Had a lot of rides show up that got poor parking.

Very nice, although it might have been nice to know some of the guys beforehand, I mean I spoke to a coupla people but didn't really meet well you for a start.....Also I arrived late, had to have the ride clean right? and I wasn't sure about the cone thing, I was just goin to reverse over one but you never know it could be booby trapped. Having said that there were some nice cars there, including I noticed another Mustang GT with a Saleen charger.....

Ah so you obviously know someone I don't, not very hard that as I don't know anyone, a muscle car in the UK is pretty much unknown, too many corners and hills, so I got my kicks on motorcycles Zero to Emergency Room in 3 sec Flat!

Was cool but we did need a bigger lot. Was nice having the only Trans Am there. Have to make sure I actually have time to detail it and finish some paint work b4 next time incase any other birds show up.

I-10 is best. 249 is pretty far for a "west houston/katy" meet.

We had a good evening, lot more responce than I expected, what a beautiful yellow coupe. That shows a need for the club and a spot that you can go to on the weekends and have a good chance of running into other car guys. Paddy's is no more. We are actually changing meet locations every month to have variety and make it more fun. ;D But as well i'm searching for a spot for weekly hang outs on saturday nights.

I like variety to kleep it interesting. But just my 2cents on the subject since you're new and getting started... Maybe the quality of those shows/meets and volume of attendance, is tied to their fixed location, i.e. stability. Just something to ponderonce you find a site with enough space and interest. Plus, you may be able to work out a deal on food, or whatever, if providing the restaurant/management with a steady return of customers.
