got an 01 white mustang GT convertible.. haven't done any mods on the car. other than the looks.. but looking into it.. anyone with ideas.. that would be awesome!

If you have the funds, Vortech S-Trim, Plenum/Throttle Body, Longtubes-full exhaust. Make little over 400 at the wheels. Money limited-Full bolt-ons

Oh yea, there was some guy at the F&F4 meet thing, he had a older 2V with a Vortech blower, built motor, bolt ons, said he put down like 560...I dont think so.

^^ Yea its possible. a properly built 2v can handle almost 1000 hp..It would take ALOT of work to ever try and get to that much though lol..

I know but the only way he could get that high was with 2 power adders...vortech blower and some spray.

Me and you both know of a certain 2v(Billy Madison) that had full bolt-ons, ported heads, cam etc. and didnt even make 300 rwhp. Now i know that a Vortech blower puts out 140 rwhp, just with the blower. With bolt ons, cams, and maybe some aftermarket heads, then maybe even 470...MAYBE!!!!

2Vs rods are the weak link. They are limited only by that, not that dont have the potential. Forged rods/pistons, and you can make 600 rwhp with just a good blower set-up or turbo.

Superchargers are the way to go, sounds awesome, don't chase every HP though it gets too expensive, and don't forget lighter wheels, uprated suspension brakes etc etc.

For my 06 Supercharger, new fuel pump, new 60lb injectors, CAI, catbacks, tune, FR500s, and tyres was ~10K dollars

Saleen blower, I think the kit itself was ~4.7K from Strictly Pro down near Hobby. I know you can't get as high an output as a Kenne Bell but then I don't want to have to rebuild my motor either, so to keep reliability the Saleen is fine

Yea you will be even to get all Pontiac models. GM MIGHT pick up the warrenty even. But yes, if someone is looking for a GTO, check out www.ls1gto.com and look at the for sale section. They have plenty of modded GTOs that arent a bad price with low miles.
