I have a 1970 (1/2) split bumper big block Camaro. Cherry red, black stripes, 454 LS6, stout little car. Currently being modded even more over at Bumbera's.

I am currently working on building a 1972 and will be setting a 454 in it. I could use some info on good and affordable shops that do quality sheet metal work.

Hello, I have been working on my 1976 camaro for the last 10yrs!!!! Its been hard to find time when you have kids and wife but I do work on it from time to time. This camaro was my first car from high school. I need to finish it so i can come to some of the shows that this forum does. So hello everyone!!!!!!!

Just took my 72 to the blasting shop, had it completely walnut shell blasted to help uncover all previous work. Looks good just can't bring it home due to the rainy weather. Looking forward to get it back home then to the body shop...Still haven't made up my mind which shop though...a few of the front runners are camaro concepts and collision craftsman...any other suggestions out there?

I would say South Coast Paint and Body. Daniel, who owns the place, is very knowledgeable of the older cars. I am sure Collision Craftsman does good work; I have just never seen it in person.
I have heard good things of Camaro concepts. If I could make a suggestion, go to the Crosspoint car show and look at the finishes on different cars. If you see one that the paint/body work really catches your eye, ask the owner who did the work. I find that is the best way to try and find buisnesses.
Also you might try going to a monthly meeting for a car club. Even though you may not be a member, they will always welcome new faces and give recommendations to any car enthusiast.

Great........nice to see some fellow 2nd Gen'ers represent!!!
As soon as it gets cool outside, I plan on going to the Sat. night street meets in Katy. Do any of you all bring your cars at this meet?
Keep them 2nd gen'ers alive!!!

I found a great place to have your interior done. Leo's, next to Maaco on Clay Rd. This guy double stitched, all leather, black with red inserts, awesome work and VERY reasonable. By the way I did finally get the side pipes on the Camaro last weekend. I will be bringing it this Saturday to the 59 Diner.
