The vararam is a good option if you are ok with losing your drive train warranty. Which I am not! LOL! The extra horses by going with a RAM air setup would be nice though!

i didnt know it voided powertrain warranty. thats good to know. my V6 could use any extra horses possible though

The reason it void's the power train warranty is because the Vararam unit requires a ECM Tune. It is a nice increase but you have to decide if it is worth taking a chance on your warranty.

ahh. i was not familiar with the tuning needed with the intake. hmm..i just wish there were few more decisions with the V6's as there are with V8's

by the way nice car. looks good with those stripes

Thanks man! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your ride! I hear ya on the V6 not having as many choices right now but they are coming!! If you have ANY questions on the Camaro please feel free to ask.. if I don't know the answer I will do my best to find out. The first question to ask before any mod is "Will this affect my warranty", of course that is only if you care about the warranty... I myself DO! LOL! Most bolt-on's will not void it... CAI, Exhaust, etc... the thing you need to worry about are the big ones. The ones that change the aspiration and air/fuel ratios of the vehicle - superchargers, turbos, headers, cams... stuff like that.

thats great info. i would love to slap on some ARH longtubes and redo entire exhaust w/ xpipe. and an intake and short throw. the looks for my car are pretty much done.

ABSOLUTELY!! i love monster V6's. i wont hijack your thread, but ill post a couple pics of my 2010 v6..and the motor of my other V6. that one i consider a monster
