2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray Convertible

Available in 2020 the C8 Stingray is making its tour around the country and during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Chevrolet had a few on display for the automotive industry to take a closer look at and the Rapid Blue hardtop convertible caught my attention.

With a matching two-tone interior, the C8 Stingray drew non-stop crowds during the SEMA Show. The mid-engine Corvette is a car that has been 67 years in the making. It is not like anything that has come before it and this is the first time that a retractable hardtop is introduced that does not compromise the storage capabilities. The C8 is packed with an LT2 V8 engine that puts out 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque is visible through a rear hatch window only available on the coupes. You can activate the two-piece hardtop at speeds up to 30 mph which is offered in body-color or Carbon Flash.

With the new engine placement that allows for more power to be directed to rear wheels and more storage offered with a cargo area in the front and back that is larger than before. The interior offers an immersive driving experience with a lowered instrument panel racing inspired and steering wheel that allows for better vision. The cockpit has a center console that has easy access to buttons for climate control and seat ventilation and offers storage with USB ports.

The next generation 2020 Stingray gives you a redesigned appearance and performance that will give you a thrill on the streets or at the track with a top speed of 194 mph, 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.2 seconds.

Early 2020 is the availability date of the c8.
